JUNIOR LEAGUE OF SEATTLE
The Junior League of Seattle (JLS) is a nonprofit organization of women committed to advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Through its programs and partnerships, JLS addresses critical needs in the Seattle community, focusing on empowering women, supporting families, and improving access to essential resources. By combining service with leadership development, the organization strengthens the community while equipping members to drive lasting change. I was brought on to modernize internal documents, create a more cohesive brand identity, and streamline overall aesthetics for clarity and consistency.
‘25-’26 Guide Book
For the Junior League of Seattle’s organization-wide guidebook, I led a complete redesign and aesthetic overhaul of a 200+ page document. The project focused on transforming a dense, text-heavy resource into a clear, cohesive, and visually structured publication. I reworked layouts for key sections including leadership messages, governance documents, policies and procedures, financial guidelines, member directories, and organizational history, ensuring consistency across all content. I also redesigned the cover, giving it a long-overdue update that better reflects the organization’s identity. The result is a more accessible and navigable guidebook that supports the needs of both new and existing members.
The Northwest Art Project
For The Northwest Art Project, a program within the Junior League of Seattle, I focused on improving the clarity, usability, and visual cohesion of their materials. I refined parent and student worksheets within the lesson plans to be more intuitive and accessible, while maintaining a clean, consistent design. In addition, I redesigned the catalogues for the ten rotating art exhibits, creating a more streamlined and engaging format that better showcases the artwork and aligns with the overall brand identity.
